On July 24, 2025, the McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis will host the 2025 Minnesota Business Hall of Fame induction ceremony, presented by Twin Cities Business. This annual event honors five exceptional leaders who have significantly contributed to Minnesota’s economic landscape through innovation, leadership, and community engagement.
Honoring Excellence in Minnesota Business
Established in 1999, the Minnesota Business Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made lifetime contributions to the state’s business community.
Each year, five honorees are selected for their outstanding achievements and impact on Minnesota’s economic vitality. The 2025 inductees exemplify the diverse leadership that drives the state’s business success.
Spotlight on 2025 Inductees
One of this year’s honorees is John M. Koneck, former president of Fredrikson & Byron, Minnesota’s largest law firm. Under his leadership, the firm expanded from a single office to ten locations across the U.S., Mexico, and China, growing to over 400 attorneys. Koneck is also recognized for his commitment to pro bono work and community service, including his role as Pro Bono Counsel at Fredrikson and his service on the Minnesota Supreme Court’s Board of Law Examiners.
The remaining four inductees will be announced in April, each bringing unique contributions to Minnesota’s business community. Their stories will be featured in the July issue of Twin Cities Business magazine and celebrated at the induction ceremony.
